I think many media institutions would be interested in my magazine because it has variety to name a few, Bauer and IPC both very big publishing companies and both have an interest in music magazines. I think my magazine would suite IPC better because my music magazine genre suits magazine types that they already publish for and by not having me on their publishing would mean greater competition for them from me. I think partnering up with a big Media distributor can only be a good thing because they already have a huge reputation for being good and efficient and that would be the type of ethos i would want my magazine to have.
I don't think Bauer can offer me the same as IPC, Bauer is however just as equally big but doesn't produce similar magazines to mine making therefore making it a risk to publish with them a company who might not understand my magazine and its target audience. So my preferred publishing company would be IPC and IPC have good connections with Time Warner. Publishing my magazine solo would be impossible as i wouldn't be able to fund it and if i could manage to fund my magazine it would be at such a small scale i would struggle to make a profit in the end.
